When you apply for awards on the web,
you will easily find out, that some of these so-called awards seem to be sent out automatically
by autoresponders - the text is written in such a general matter that it always fits, no
matter what your website is about, and you receive the award from some sites about 1 hour
after you submitted it. And these sites are always the same ones. Strange, huh? Actually we are just working on the proof that a certin percentage of awards is giving without the awardsite even visiting the page that it sends the award to... see some example for thishere! The reason for this is a simple one: It means a link to them. We have cancelled our award program as of today, for several reasons - first other projects, that I regard as more important, need my time. Second I do not want to participate in the above mentioned nonsense any longer, and third most of the awards go more or less to award-hunter pages, who have got nothing else to do but to collect 567 different awards and display them....yawn. If you came here to apply for the ART-award - you can at least exchange links with us- we will link to any good artsite. You also can participate in Art Exchange, which becomes restructured too and receives a kind of award-character in the next days.
