During my endless visits to other webpages, either to check on current submissions to OnArt's Awards or while doing research for other reasons, I sometimes find some quite entertaining things.Jay Leno would have is fun on the web I guess...

Just today (6-13, not a friday, I came across this masterpiece. "We can supply you with a well designed webpage.... blablabla..."Keep this text in mind and take a look at this page - we think it must mean "a well designed large print page with some accidently scattered over advertising" - or did this guy that speaks of himself as "We" not have the page designed by his service? Better go look at this page now, usually these types of enterprises don't last very long... in addition you may take a look at his "webhosting prices - a very generous offer!For only 79.95 a month (!) you get basically something that is described like a geocities free page with 5 free photos. For this price you can get dedicated server hosting at a real webhost. We proudly supply the "Executive imaginary ennerprice award" - thanks for humouring us!
On a website that presents its quality by giving an "Award of Excellence":
No Nudity. No Violence. Look at it this way. If you would share it with your children or even your Mom then apply.
- No realworld? Well... wellllllll... if she would know what mom is looking at right now with her grandchildren....and they seem to be having fun.... But it's getting better:

I do not consider myself an overly good webdesigner. In fact am an advanced amateur, but this will not keep me from laughing about some things that I come about.
The fantastic artwork of this banner caught my eye:

26000 bites btw, this little piece of art, without any optical change I brought it to 10000, which is still about 4 times the amount of bites such a banner would normally need...how ever it was made... it had a size of 400x80 and was used in a banner exchange that requires 468x60, and thus it looked like what you see above. I had to visit this webpage and it didn't disappoint me, the whole page looks like this somehow. Orange letters on orange ground, a kitchenwallpaper background in blue with text on it, that you can't read because it's too small (in special on the nauseating background), organized appearance in perfection. Gurlpages.com must be an interesting project - I always have my preoccupation if something is made by someone who considers herself as a gurl or grrrl, because it sounds so nice and fashionable... Just check out the link :))

The Website of the "Texas Women in Business", a page of very male sounding business women, gave the following interesting information:
This site was produced and is maintained by a woman
Well... who would have expected that? We're so impressed now.... Now but seriously...what does this sentence want to make the visitor, who reads it,think? A lot of things came to my mind, like
-oh...I'm sorry about that- or
-maybe that's why the word "woman" appeared more often on the page than "and" or "is" - or
-amazing... it didn't look that bad at all-
Now serious again. I'm not half as macho as this sounds , more the opposite - but this presentation looks like it's made to ask for it...loudly. I wonder if there are any blondes over there.... OnArt proudly offers the "Slam forehead against hand"-Award
